B211A Visit Visa Bali (C1) 2026 — 60 Days, Extendable

The B211A (now issued as the C1 Visit Visa) is a single-entry Indonesian visa allowing up to 60 days in Bali for tourism, business meetings, or family/social visits. Our all-in, fully-managed service is USD 249 (government fee and sponsor included; official government fee IDR 1,500,000). It requires a sponsor/guarantor and is extendable in-country. Unlike the VOA, it can be converted to a KITAS without leaving Indonesia.

What Is the B211A / C1 Visit Visa?

The B211A is Indonesia’s 60-day visit visa. Under the current visa-code system it is issued as the C1 Visit Visa, but the name “B211A” remains in common use, so you’ll see both terms — they refer to the same visa. It is the natural step up from the Visa on Arrival for anyone who wants to stay in Bali longer than the VOA’s 60-day maximum, or who may want to convert to a longer-term residence permit later.

The B211A/C1 gives an initial stay of 60 days from your date of arrival. It is a single-entry visa (one entry to Indonesia per visa) and is extendable in-country. Crucially — and unlike the VOA — it can be converted to a KITAS without leaving Indonesia (a process called alih status), which makes it the visa of choice for people who arrive as visitors but decide to stay, work, invest or retire.

The government fee is IDR 1,500,000. The B211A requires an Indonesian sponsor or guarantor — an individual or a company that vouches for you — which is one reason most applicants use a licensed agent. As a registered agency, Juara Holding Group can act as or arrange your sponsor, prepare and submit the application through the official portal, and manage your extensions and any later conversion to a KITAS.

Decided to stay? You can convert to a KITAS in-country from a B211A — no need to exit and re-apply.

Who Is the B211A Visit Visa For?

The B211A/C1 is the right visa if you are:

  • A long-stay tourist wanting 60 days (or longer with extensions) — beyond what the VOA allows.
  • A business visitor attending meetings, conferences, audits, training or investment exploration — but not taking paid employment. (For paid work you need a Working KITAS (E23).)
  • Someone visiting family or on a social visit for an extended period.
  • A “try before you commit” expat — people who want to spend a couple of months in Bali before deciding on a Digital Nomad, Retirement or Investor KITAS. Because the B211A converts onshore, you can transition without an expensive exit-and-reapply trip.
  • A digital nomad bridging a gap before their E33G is ready (note: the B211A itself does not permit work).

It is not suitable if you intend to work or earn income in Indonesia from day one (choose a KITAS), or if you need to enter and leave Indonesia repeatedly — for that, the Multiple-Entry Visa (D1/D2) is the correct option.

B211A / C1 Visit Visa Requirements 2026

The B211A requires more documentation than a VOA, principally because of the sponsor requirement. Our team prepares and verifies each item before submission.

Requirement Detail
Passport Valid 6+ months from arrival; scan of bio-data page
Passport photo Recent, plain background (digital)
Indonesian sponsor / guarantor An individual or company that sponsors the visa — we can arrange this
Proof of funds Approx. USD 2,000 (or equivalent), ~3 months of bank statements
Return / onward ticket Proof of intended departure
Application Filed offshore via evisa.imigrasi.go.id (or by our team)
All Indonesia Arrival Card (AIDC) Mandatory on arrival — allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id, within 3 days before arrival
Bali Tourist Levy IDR 150,000 per person (separate government charge)

The B211A is typically applied for offshore (from outside Indonesia) before you travel, then activated on arrival. Processing usually takes around 5–10 working days.

B211A Visit Visa Cost 2026 — Transparent Pricing

Below is the B211A cost — our all-in, fully-managed service price (sponsorship, document preparation, submission and the government fee all included), with the official government fee shown separately. Every figure is quoted in writing; there are no hidden charges.

Item Price Notes
Bali Visa Trusted B211A service (all-in, incl. sponsor) USD 249 Government fee + sponsor included
Official government B211A/C1 fee (included above) IDR 1,500,000 Set by immigration, paid to the state
Extension (per extension) — our service from USD 219 In-person biometric handled
Bali Tourist Levy (separate, gov) IDR 150,000 (~USD 10) Paid once per visit

Our USD 249 all-in price includes sponsor arrangement, document preparation, submission and the official IDR 1,500,000 government fee (Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi, 2026). The government fee is law and is included in — not added on top of — our price.

All-in, government fees included. We’re a premium, fully-managed agency — not the cheapest, the most thorough. Because the B211A requires a sponsor and offshore filing, almost everyone uses an agent; we quote the complete cost upfront and in writing. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.

How to Apply for a B211A Visit Visa — Step by Step

  1. Free consultation and visa check. Tell us your nationality, purpose and how long you want to stay. We confirm the B211A is right for you (vs VOA or a KITAS) and send a written quote.
  2. Sponsor arrangement. The B211A requires an Indonesian guarantor. We act as or arrange your sponsor — one of the main reasons applicants use a licensed agency.
  3. Document preparation. You receive a personalised checklist (passport scan, photo, proof of funds, onward ticket). Our team reviews everything before submission.
  4. Offshore submission. We file your application through the official portal (evisa.imigrasi.go.id) while you are still outside Indonesia. Processing takes roughly 5–10 working days.
  5. Receive your e-visa and travel. Your approved visit visa is emailed as a PDF. Complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card, then travel to Bali and activate the visa on arrival.
  6. Extend or convert as needed. Before your 60 days expire, we manage your extension (in-person biometric required since May 2025) or your conversion to a KITAS.

Extending the B211A — How Long Can You Really Stay?

This is the most-asked — and most-misreported — question about the B211A, so we’ll be precise.

The B211A/C1 gives an initial 60 days and is extendable in-country. Beyond that, published sources disagree on the exact number of extensions and the resulting maximum stay. Some commonly cite up to two 30-day extensions; others cite more. Because immigration policy on extension limits has shifted and is applied at the discretion of the issuing office, we do not quote a fixed “180-day” or “six-month” maximum — doing so would risk giving you inaccurate information on a matter where an overstay carries serious penalties.

What we commit to instead: when you engage us, we confirm the current, official extension limit for your specific visa and circumstances directly with Bali immigration, and we manage each extension before your permit expires. You always get the accurate, up-to-date answer for your case — not a number copied from an out-of-date forum post.

Each extension (since May 2025) requires an in-person biometric appointment at a Bali immigration office. We book it, prepare the paperwork, and keep you compliant. To extend your stay legally, start at least a week before expiry.

Need to stay much longer, or work? Rather than stacking extensions, it is often better to convert your B211A to a KITAS in-country — see below.

B211A vs Visa on Arrival — Which Do You Need?

VOA / eVOA B211A / C1 Visit Visa
Initial stay 30 days 60 days
Extensions Once (+30 → 60 days max) Extendable in-country (ask us for current limit)
Entry type Single Single
Sponsor required No Yes (individual or company)
Government fee IDR 500,000 IDR 1,500,000
Where applied Airport or evisa.imigrasi.go.id Offshore, before travel
Convert to KITAS onshore Generally no Yes (alih status)
Best for Holidays ≤60 days Longer stays, business, future residents

In short: choose the VOA/eVOA for a simple holiday of up to 60 days. Choose the B211A when you want a longer stay from the outset, need it for business/family purposes, or might convert to a residence permit — because the B211A’s onshore-conversion ability is a genuine advantage the VOA does not offer.

Converting Your B211A to a KITAS (Alih Status)

The B211A’s standout feature is onshore conversion: you can switch from the visit visa to most KITAS types — Working (E23), Investor (E28A), Family (E31) or Retirement (E33F)without leaving Indonesia. This saves a costly exit-and-reapply trip and keeps your Bali stay continuous.

To convert, you generally need around 31+ days remaining on your B211A, an in-person appointment, and an appropriate sponsor for the target KITAS. The timing matters: start the conversion well before your visa runs low. Our team handles the full visa conversion (alih status) process — assessing eligibility, arranging the sponsor, and filing onshore so your status changes seamlessly.

Frequently Asked Questions — B211A Visit Visa

How long can I stay in Bali on a B211A visa?
The B211A gives an initial 60 days and is extendable in-country. The exact number of extensions and total maximum stay vary with current immigration policy, so we confirm the official limit for your case directly with Bali immigration rather than quoting a fixed figure.

Do I need a sponsor for a B211A visa?
Yes. The B211A/C1 requires an Indonesian guarantor — an individual or a company. Bali Visa Trusted can act as or arrange your sponsor, which is why most applicants use a licensed agency for this visa.

How much does the B211A visa cost in 2026?
Our all-in, fully-managed service is USD 249 — that includes sponsorship, submission and the official government fee (IDR 1,500,000). The price you see is the price you pay; we’re a premium agency, not the cheapest. Each extension is from USD 219.

Can I work on a B211A visit visa?
No. The B211A permits tourism, business meetings, conferences and social/family visits — but not paid employment. Working on it is illegal and enforced in 2026. For paid work, convert to or apply for a Working KITAS (E23).

Can I convert my B211A to a KITAS without leaving Bali?
Yes. The B211A can be converted onshore (alih status) to most KITAS types — working, investor, family or retirement — provided you have roughly 31+ days remaining and an appropriate sponsor. This is a key advantage over the VOA, which generally cannot convert onshore.
