Bali Visa Cost 2026 — Full Price List for Every Visa Type

Last updated: May 2026 · by Bali Visa Trusted

Bali visa costs in 2026 range from IDR 500,000 (~USD 35) for a VOA to a IDR 2 billion (~USD 130,000) deposit for the Second Home Visa. Every visa has a government fee; using a licensed agent adds a transparent service fee on top. Always check both before you pay.

Last updated: 2026. Government fees are based on Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi sources (imigrasi.go.id{rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”}); several KITAS and premium fees are quoted as “from” because they vary by case. We confirm exact figures in writing — see our transparent pricing page.

How Bali Visa Pricing Works — Government Fee + Service Fee

Before the numbers, understand the two components of every quote:

  • The government fee — the official charge set by Indonesian immigration (Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi). This is fixed for simple visas like the VOA, but varies by case for complex KITAS and premium visas.
  • The service fee — what a licensed agent charges to prepare your documents, lodge the application through official portals, arrange sponsorship where required, and manage the process to approval.

A trustworthy agent shows you both, itemised, so the total is clear. Beware anyone who quotes a single lump sum with no breakdown, or whose price is suspiciously below the government fee — both are scam warning signs.

Our rule: every Juara Holding Group quote is the government fee + our service fee, itemised in writing, in IDR, USD and AUD. Where a government fee is a range or “from”, we say so — we never invent a single number that might be wrong.

Short-Stay Visa Costs 2026

These are the entry and tourist visas, with the clearest, most stable pricing.

Visa Government fee Stay Notes
VOA / eVOA IDR 500,000 (~USD 35) 30 days Extendable once (+30 → 60 max)
VOA / eVOA extension IDR 500,000 +30 days In-person biometric since May 2025
B211A / C1 visit visa IDR 1,500,000 60 days Sponsor required; extendable in-country
D1/D2 multiple-entry contact for quote 60 days/entry 1/2/5-year validity

VOA and B211A government fees per Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi, 2026. Multiple-entry fees vary by validity. USD approximate, FX-dependent.

You also pay two non-visa entry items: the Bali Tourist Levy of IDR 150,000 per person (via the Love Bali app or on arrival), and you must complete the free All Indonesia Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival.

KITAS (Residence Permit) Costs 2026

KITAS pricing varies more, because government fees depend on the visa type, sponsor and duration. Where a figure isn’t a verified fixed number, we quote “from” or “contact for quote” rather than guess.

KITAS Government / official fee Validity Notes
Digital Nomad E33G contact for all-in quote 1 year USD 60,000/yr income; not renewable
Working KITAS E23 + DPKK USD 1,200/yr (employer levy) 1 year, renewable Employer sponsor + RPTKA + IMTA
Investor KITAS E28A immigration fees from ~IDR 17,250,000 1–2 years Requires PT PMA + IDR 10 billion shares
Retirement KITAS E33F gov stay-permit from ~IDR 1,000,000/yr 1 year, renewable Age 55+; all-in (visa + agent) is higher
Family / Spouse KITAS E31/E31A contact for quote 1 year, renewable Dependants / spouse of Indonesian
Student KITAS contact for quote 1 year, renewable Enrolment + institutional sponsor
Entertainment KITAS contact for quote 6 months Paid creative work; sponsor + expertise

KITAS figures per research and immigration sources, 2026. The DPKK (USD 1,200/yr) applies to the Working KITAS; the Investor KITAS immigration fee (from ~IDR 17.25M) and the Retirement stay-permit fee (from ~IDR 1,000,000/yr) are indicative “from” figures — the all-in cost including visa issuance and our service fee is higher, and we quote it exactly for your case. Verify against imigrasi.go.id{rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”}.

For the Retirement route, also note the E33E Silver Hair option: a 5-year retirement visa for ages 60+ requiring a USD 50,000 deposit in a state bank.

Premium Long-Stay Visa Costs 2026

These are the big-ticket residence options. Two carry large deposits or investments — your own capital, not a fee.

Visa Financial requirement Validity Notes
Second Home Visa E33 IDR 2 billion (~USD 130,000) deposit (your capital) 5 or 10 years Deposit in BNI/BRI/Mandiri within 90 days; or qualifying property
Golden Visa (individual) USD 350,000 (5 yr) / USD 700,000 (10 yr) investment 5 or 10 years Higher thresholds for company/corporate routes
KITAP contact for quote 5-yr card, indefinite After qualifying KITAS period

Second Home and Golden Visa figures = ✅ verified against research and official sources, 2026. The Second Home deposit (IDR 2 billion ≈ USD 130,000) is your own money held at a state bank, not a charge; the Golden Visa investment likewise. Government processing fees and our service fee are quoted separately and in writing. Verify against imigrasi.go.id{rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”}.

The crucial point: the Second Home deposit and Golden Visa investment are refundable/retained capital you control — not money paid to anyone. Only the (separate) processing fee and service fee are true costs. See the Second Home Visa guide for how the deposit works.

What’s Actually in an Agent’s Service Fee?

A legitimate service fee pays for real work, not just “submitting a form”:

  • Eligibility assessment — confirming you qualify before you spend a rupiah.
  • Document preparation and review — so nothing is rejected.
  • Sponsorship — where the visa requires a guarantor (e.g. B211A, some KITAS).
  • Official lodgement — filing through evisa.imigrasi.go.id / molina.imigrasi.go.id and tracking it.
  • Biometric appointment booking — required in person since May 2025 for extensions.
  • Compliance tracking — deadlines like the Second Home 90-day deposit and renewal dates.

That’s why a transparent agent fee can save you money overall: a rejected DIY application means lost government fees and wasted time.

How to Avoid Hidden-Fee Scams

  • Demand an itemised quote — government fee and service fee shown separately, in writing, before you pay.
  • Be suspicious of prices below the government fee. A VOA “for IDR 200,000” can’t be real — the government fee alone is IDR 500,000.
  • Use only official portals for DIY: evisa.imigrasi.go.id is the genuine eVOA site. Copycats overcharge.
  • Never pay 100% upfront to an unverified agent with no contract.
  • Verify the agent is licensed with Ditjen Imigrasi before engaging — see our guide to finding a trusted Bali visa agent.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Bali visa cost in 2026?
It ranges from IDR 500,000 (~USD 35) for a VOA/eVOA, to IDR 1,500,000 for a B211A visit visa, up to the Second Home Visa’s IDR 2 billion (~USD 130,000) deposit. Every visa has a government fee; a licensed agent adds a transparent service fee. We itemise both before you pay.

What’s the difference between the government fee and the agent fee?
The government fee is the official immigration charge (fixed for a VOA, variable for complex visas). The agent fee covers document preparation, sponsorship, official lodgement, biometric booking and compliance tracking. A trustworthy agent shows both separately — never a single unexplained lump sum.

Is the Second Home Visa deposit a fee?
No. The IDR 2 billion (~USD 130,000) Second Home deposit is your own capital, held in your own state-bank account (BNI, BRI or Mandiri) for the visa term — not money paid to anyone. Only the separate processing fee and service fee are actual costs.

How much is a KITAS in Bali?
It depends on type. The Working KITAS adds a DPKK levy of USD 1,200/year; the Investor KITAS immigration fee is from around IDR 17.25 million; the Retirement stay-permit fee is from around IDR 1,000,000/year, with the all-in cost higher. We quote the exact, current figure for your case in writing.

How do I avoid hidden visa fees?
Insist on an itemised quote (government fee + service fee, in writing) before paying. Be wary of prices below the government fee, 100%-upfront demands from unverified agents, and fake “official” websites. Always confirm the agent is licensed by Ditjen Imigrasi first.
