The lawful, sponsored route for DJs, musicians, performers, photographers and dive, yoga and fitness instructors doing paid local work in Bali. All-in from USD 2,190 — venue- or company-sponsored, fully compliant and handled end to end.
The Entertainment KITAS is for DJs, musicians, performers, photographers, dive, yoga and fitness instructors and other professionals doing paid local work in Bali. If a venue, studio or client here is paying you to perform, teach or shoot, this is the permit that keeps that engagement lawful.
It is venue- or company-sponsored, compliant with Indonesian labour and immigration law, and handled end to end — from the sponsoring paperwork and work permit through to your stay permit — so you can focus on the booking rather than the bureaucracy.
You need an Entertainment KITAS if you are a performer or instructor taking paid engagements for Indonesian venues or clients — a resident DJ, a booked live act, a photographer on commission, or a dive, yoga or fitness instructor teaching for a local studio. This goes beyond what a C5A creator visa covers: the C5A is for your own monetised content, while paid local work for a venue or client requires this sponsored permit.
Paid local work in Indonesia must be sponsored. The venue, studio or employer engaging you acts as sponsor and holds the work permit, and we coordinate the process with them — preparing the documentation, liaising with immigration and manpower, and keeping the engagement compliant from start to finish so neither you nor the venue is exposed.
The C5A creator visa is for your own monetised content — the videos, shoots and posts you publish under your own name. The Entertainment KITAS is for paid local engagements — performing, teaching or shooting for an Indonesian venue or client who pays you. If you are being booked and paid here, the Entertainment KITAS is the correct route, and we will confirm which one fits before you commit.
All-in from USD 2,190 — the government fee is already built in, with a dedicated case manager guiding you and your sponsor throughout.
The questions performers and instructors ask most before taking paid work in Bali — answered plainly by a licensed agency.
Yes. If a venue or client in Bali is paying you to perform — as a DJ, musician, live act, photographer or instructor — that is paid local work, and it requires a sponsored Entertainment KITAS and work permit. Doing the same on a tourist visa or Visa on Arrival is illegal and, under the 2026 enforcement drive, actively pursued. The Entertainment KITAS is the lawful way to accept the booking.
The C5A creator visa covers your own monetised content — work you produce and publish under your own name. The Entertainment KITAS covers paid local engagements, where an Indonesian venue, studio or client pays you to perform, teach or shoot. In short: content you own points to the C5A; paid work for a local sponsor points to the Entertainment KITAS. We will confirm which applies to your situation before you commit.
Tell us about your engagement and sponsor on WhatsApp and we’ll arrange your Entertainment KITAS end to end — work permit, sponsor coordination and case manager included.
