What the B211A actually is
Indonesia's sixty day visit visa. The natural step up from a VOA, and the only short-stay visa that becomes a residence permit without an exit flight.
This is the visa people arrive on and stay on. Because it converts onshore, you can decide to live here without an expensive exit and re-apply trip.

What it takes
More paperwork than a VOA, mostly because of the sponsor. We prepare and verify each item before it is submitted.

The B211A is applied for from outside Indonesia and activated on arrival. Processing usually runs five to ten working days, so it is not a visa to leave until the week you fly.

How long can you really stay?
This is the most asked and most misreported question about the B211A, so here is the precise answer.
We do not publish a maximum
Some sources say two extensions, others say more. The limit has shifted and is applied at the issuing office's discretion. Quoting a fixed number here would risk giving you a wrong answer on a matter where overstay carries real penalties.

If you need much longer, or you want to work, converting to a KITAS in country is usually better than another extension. Since May 2025 each extension also needs an in-person biometric appointment.
