How many times can I extend a Bali Visa on Arrival?

Once. A VOA or eVOA gives thirty days on entry and extends a single time for another thirty, to a maximum of sixty. There is no second extension. For longer you must leave and re-enter, or move to a different visa such as a C1 or a KITAS.

How much does a VOA extension cost?

The government fee is IDR 500,000. Our all-in service starts at USD 119 standard, which already includes that fee, the document review, filing and appointment booking. Express priority handling is USD 155. Every quote is confirmed in writing before you pay.

Can I extend online without going to immigration?

No. Since May 2025 the extension requires one in-person biometric appointment for your photo and fingerprints, and that step cannot be done remotely. We handle the filing, payment and scheduling around it.

How early should I start?

Seven to ten days before your thirtieth day. That leaves room for the biometric appointment and for any query immigration raises on the file.

Can I convert my VOA to a KITAS instead?

Generally not onshore. A VOA cannot usually be converted without leaving Indonesia; a B211A can. If your plans have changed, tell us early and we sequence the right visa before your sixty days run out.

One thirty day addition to a Visa on Arrival, granted once, and never twice. On paper it is simple. In practice it is unforgiving about timing.

A VOA generally cannot be converted to a KITAS onshore. Extending buys you time, not a pathway. If the plan has changed from a long holiday to living here, tell us early and we sequence the right visa before day sixty.

Since May 2025 every visa extension in Bali requires the holder to attend an immigration office in person. It cannot be done remotely or by proxy, and it is where do-it-yourself extensions most often unravel.
